Summer Fun at the 4th of July Parade
Well by now we have our wonderful and fun stories of the 2015 edition of July 4th! All of us at Adam’s Air had great fun. It started early in the morning of the 4th. We were going to be in the 4th of July Parade in Canyon, Texas. We love to particpate in this parade. The Canyon people and the ones in charge of the parade are so friendly and willing to help with anything they can. We got to the assigned parking lot and decked out one of our fleet trucks and trailer. This sign on the trailer was special because most of these men and women were folks form Amarillo, and Canyon and some were family members. We wanted to support and honor these fine people for sacrificing their time and family and sometimes themselves for this great country we live in. We were going all out with Old Glory, all the flags of our armed services and paying tribute to the men and marines who placed the flag at Iwo Jima. With our ideas and efforts we got second place with our float and ideas. Thank you to the judges of the parade! A HUGE thanks goes to the citizens of Canyon and everyone who drove in from the surrounding communities to take part or to watch the parade. Thank you also to all the folks who told us,”Nice job”, and “Thanks for doing what we did to commemorate our troops from the past and present,
