You Only Thought it Was Thanksgiving

  I was googling for a blog post about crazy Thanksgiving meals or the worst Thanksgiving fails, and I came across this article taken from Woman’s Day from about 10 years ago.  Its disgusting to say the least and the photos will go from left to right per paragraph.  Enjoy please.  Most people only enjoy one Thanksgiving feast each year. But those of you who simply can’t get enough may want to try one of the unique eats below. From pumpkin fortune cookies to turkey gravy and cranberry cupcakes, here are eight unusual items that capture the essence of the Thanksgiving table.

Tofurky & Gravy Soda

If you’re a big soda drinker who loves Thanksgiving dinner, then your wildest dreams have come true. Turkey Dinner Layer Cake

Foodie and Chow.com contributor Amy Wisniewski created the ultimate one-stop Thanksgiving meal. What looks like a cake is actually alternating layers of stuffing and ground turkey mixed with instant oatmeal, “frosted” with mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, and topped with lightly browned mini marshmallows. Lay’s Turkey Potato Chips

And we thought Lay’s Dill Pickle chips were unusual. This savory chip is only available in China, which is too bad, because according to a contributor at Taquitos.net: “They really do taste like turkey with gravy…It’s like combining the best parts of Thanksgiving dinner, all in one bag.”

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Jelly Beans

For a quick taste of Thanksgiving dinner, give these little jelly beans a whirl.
